Examples of these services are: - Weekly sidewalk and curb cleaning by an individual hired by the Association - Spring and Fall clean-up volunteer days - Holiday Party and seasonal neighborhood decorations - Picnic on the Park and Upton Street Block Party - Representation at City Hall hearings - City lobbying to deal with trash, parking, crime, groundwater and Logan Airport issues - Participation in city permitting/licensing process for homeowner decks, restaurants, and building developments in our area - Public neighborhood association meetings and quarterly newsletters - Coordination with other neighborhood associations on issues and events - Friends of Union Park fund raising event in June for park beautification and maintenance.
