Resident Parking Permits
South End residents can obtain a parking permit at City Hall, Room 224, by showing two documents: car registration showing a South End address, and a recent (last 30 days) bill (gas, electric, TV, credit card, whatever) also showing that address. Call 617-635-4682 for more information. Note that if you have any unpaid parking tickets you must pay them before you can get a sticker.

Street Cleaning
Street cleaning starts every year on April 1 (no joke), and ends November 30. Here is a street by street schedule:

Harrison, Monsr. Reynolds, Pelham + Pelham Terr., all streets south of Washington - none

Shawmut Av
odd side: every Mo 8AM - 12noon
even side: every Th 12noon - 4PM

Tremont Street
odd side: every Mon 5AM-7AM
even side: every Thurs 5AM-7AM

Union Park
odd side: 1st+3rd Thurs 12noon-4PM
even side: 1st+3rd Mon 8AM - 12noon

Union Park Street
odd side: 1st+3rd Mon 8AM- 12noon
even side: 1st+3rd Thurs 12noon-4PM

Upton Street
odd side: 1st+3rd Thurs 12noon-4PM
even side: 1st+3rd Mon 8AM-12noon

Washington Street
odd side: every Tues midnite-Wed 7AM
even side: every Mon midnite-Tues 7AM
