Support Our Neighborhood
Why Your Support Matters
The Union Park Neighborhood Association operates and relies on donations to maintain and improve the neighborhood for its residents, businesses, and all who enjoy this slice of the South End.
As of 2026, maintaining the basic needs of the neighborhood costs approximately $25,000 annually.
Park Maintenance = $12,500 per year
Cleanliness Initiatives = $6,500 per year
Neighborhood Events = $4,000 per year
Fountain Maintenance = $2,000 per year
The UPNA is a 501(c)(3) organization, meaning donations to support our neighborhood are tax deductible! Many employers also offer matching gift programs that can double your donation and impact. Check with your HR department to see if your employer participates.
Donations can be made to either the UPNA’s General Fund or the Friends of Union Park’s Restricted Fund. Funds donated to UPNA General Fund are unrestricted and can be utilized for any neighborhood need. The Friends of Union Park’s Restricted Fund is used solely to maintain and improve the park. Examples include fountain maintenance, landscaping, holiday decorations, irrigation maintenance, and more.
